Student looked into different communication method types:

1. RX & TX pins
2. DIgital Pins
3. USB Cable <-- looks like best option so far

Communication method: serial USB

Works by: sending strings. Two-way communication. We can make our own protocols for what gets sent how. Ex. send "S: " before sending a speed from Jetson to Arduino, "U: " before sending ultrasonic distance from Arduino to Jetson. This way, we know what info is being sent and is easy to understand and follow.

On Jetson side (receiving)
line = serial.readline().decode('utf-8').rstrip() -> rstrip is right strip, removing anything excess off the right side, gets rid of newline

On Arduino side (sending)
Serial.print("U:");
Serial.println(distance);

Next steps: connect Arduino to Jetson physically. Then test with example program. Then connect Ultrasonic (see other issues or Abby). Then test sending info from Arduino, to Jetson. Etc.
