Silabs serial driver #40
Description
I have been having a LOT of problems transferring files over serial ports. Once in a while, the transfer works, but most of the time it just seems to hang and does not complete. This happens with various boards attached via USB to varying degrees of severity. My dmesg log shows a lot of errors on the ports I use.
I am unable to use some embedded boards that need the Silabs driver because access through the serial port is not possible. One of these boards is the TinyPico, which is not even usable because of this driver issue.
