Kineticist - Blade Rush not working correctly and inconsistently

It seems Blade Rush just doesn't work correctly nor does it have the correct Burn. The Burn is 0 at level 6 without gathering power. The only way I have found it will actually work is by using Kinetic Whip. As soon as Whip is not toggled the character teleports but never swings the sword to deal damage.

You can see in the image log below where it's used but no damage happens. And the first image just shows 0 burn without actually using any gather power at level 6.

Side note, this did work when it was coded. Either you have a mod interfering or the game changed. I spend way too much time looking for bugs that I could not reproduce, that I am very reluctant to check most reports, unless I get a good clue.

"Teleports and does no animation or damage", sounds likely that there is an exception during the action. This game does everything to not crash (which is a bad thing for debugging). So it will just eat the fault and keep going. When you produce this action, you should get something in your log file. Maybe that text would clear up the issue.

The only others mods I have are toybox and companion respec. I did check the combat log but nothing of interest appears in there whatsoever. Like I mentioned, it works just fine as long as you have Kinetic Whip toggled and the only thing I could gather from that is that it has something to do with the range during teleport as the attack is made given Whip gives it an additional range.

Gotcha, here is the combat log attached. I deleted old one and used a fresh encounter. In this you will see some null exceptions and others. The outcome during combat is that 1 of the Blade Rush abilities actually hit while 2 or 3 had the scenario of just teleporting and doing nothing. This was all without Kinetic Whip of course. Everything always works with Whip enabled.
