Scroll and sorting on mobile

I am using this control outside the map and just noticed that scrolling inside the legend and sorting does not work on mobile. It looks like this is a jquery sortable issue. Has anyone run into this and found a workaround. I am specifically interested in a workaround for scrolling. I'll post my progress here if any.

You're absolutely right on the lack of mobile functionality. jQuery UI - which handles the sorting doesn't work well (if at all) on mobile. Several years back, Touch Punch was created to allow for touch events with jQueryUI - but the main repo hasn't been active for years. It may be worth a shot to simply add it as an additional dependency, but I have my suspicions that it won't solve all issues.

One of these days, I'd like to refactor the Layer Tree using SortableJS, as I've had good success with it on mobile devices...

The main problem is not the sortable function, but that overflow scrolling also does not work. I made the container for the legend wider than the legend, thereby allowing scrolling with touch.
