Automatically refresh list of serial ports when opening the New Connection dialog

The process of rescanning the list of available serial ports (i.e. clicking "Rescan" in the New Connection dialog) is nearly instant. It is also quite common that the list of serial ports on my system changes between when I launch the app and when I want to open a connection. Having to explicitly click "Rescan" is kinda annoying.

Therefore, I think this dialog should automatically rescan the available ports whenever it is opened.

Thanks for the suggestion. At point one this was planned (and even some of it was done), but it got removed. I planned to add it back in but it got moved down the priority list (and mostly forgotten :) ).

I will up the priority of this and have this issue for when it gets done.
