I adjusted the graphics settings to fit my setup but I found that normal and high quality, combined with fullscreen and 2560X1440 would result in a dark screen with normal audio.
This did not occur with a lower resolution or borderless.
I did not notice my PC struggling and it should be plenty beefy (IMO) to load the main menu on high.
