@tauntonian Squad has built-in functionalities to ensure the server remains balanced at all times, so if you're having issues with balance you should check your configuration first of all, and then check if you have any plugin that could cause the server to become unbalanced.
I honestly don't think a plugin would be required to resolve this issue, but I may be wrong, and we would need you to explain better what you're facing

Also if you can, please change the label to "Plugin feature request" instead of "core feature request"

I don't see a way to add/remove labels; I think only contributors are allowed.
For example, an 8-player stack (e.g. clan) leaves an ongoing game and there aren't players in queue waiting to replace them. Do the built-in functions actively pull players from the other side to balance the teams?
This is very-low priority, as I don't see a need for it very often, but would be another tool to have on hand to keep things running smoothly.
