If possible, write tests for your changes. This can also be done by using the app module to test the changes to UI components.
When you create a new UI component, write a sample usage of the component in the app module and make shure it works as expected.
- Always write a clear log message for your commits. One-line messages are fine for small changes, but bigger changes should include a summary and a short description of the change.
$ git commit -m "A brief summary of the commit

> A paragraph describing what changed and its impact"
- Follow the Kotlin Coding Conventions
- Document your code, especially public functions, with KDoc
- For new preferences, you can use the existing preferences as a reference
