Running examples in Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm):

I have the same problem.

Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS.
Swift version 6.1.2 (swift-6.1.2-RELEASE)
Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu

I've found the solution. Shaft only supports Swift 6.2+.

I haven't updated swift to 6.2.*
