Hi,
I currently encounter a very loud static noise at the end of some tracks I play via Music Assistant.
I already tried setting to pcm instead of flac and using different khz and bitrates, but the issue persists.
Disabling and messing with the limiter and dynamic normalizer Music Assistant uses didn't fix the problem.
File encodings that produce the noise (as far as I have seen):
- 44100 kHz 16 bit WAV -> Very loud, short, static noise at the end of each track
- 44100 kHz >= 24 bit WAV -> Only very loud static noise the whole track
Hardware:
- Raspberry Pi 4 running via 5G WiFi with sendspin-cli installed
- Fosi Audio ZD3 USB DAC
- Raspberry Pi 5 running HomeAssistant with the Music Assistant Add-On via Ethernet
Am I missing a dependency?
I attached the debug log. Starting 11:15:01 the static noise appeared
sendspin.log
.
