Hey, thanks for making this! I've struggled with setting up User CSS in the past, maybe I'll try in a bit. But I'm curious, have you used an a11y tool to ensure the contrast meets WCAG compliance? It's a great way to catch any minor mistakes. I'm happy to help, Accessibility Insights for Web is my favorite tool. I should mention I work for Microsoft, and they publish that tool, but you're welcome to shop around :)

Hi @mark-wiemer and thanks for your feedback. I've seen your struggles on the forums and I can understand you.

Yes, I used some tools to make sure the contrast is WCAG compliant. Check the Color Selection Rules here in the readme. The rules and tools are posted there.

But I had a hard time selecting a good "mint green" color... I find it would be much easier with blue tones. But I'm trying to use green tones in the hope of eventual adoption by the community. So there are some colors here that only meet the minimum contrast requirement of 3:1.

Please note that I can see that the banner is too vibrant, too colorful. I should use the colors from linuxmint.com. It would be better and increase the chances of approval. For the "dark" version, I'll have to use another color.

I don't have time for that right now. I think I can work on it next month.

P.S.: I've ditched Mint and am now on Ubuntu. And I love it. But I usually finish what I had started...

The new version 4.6.0 offers better contrasts, especially with the dark version...

Change log :

• page header and forum border colours (darker and less vibrant)
• block-quote and rules left border width: 12px -> 8px
• inline code and code box colours
• +/- one pixel readjustments
• Miscellaneous colour changes
