-P or --pretty makes no difference?

When invoking jade2php from command line I get the files without newlines.
I thought it should be fixed by using -P (--pretty) option to jade2php, but seems it's not.

In next two months I won't work on jade2php new functionality.
I'd be glad to accept contributions.
