can't run source code

Hello! I'm a bit of a coding noob but I'd like to retool this code to work with a different game but many methods objects and methods "don't exist in this current context" especially the calls to initializeComponent(). I was wondering if there are any extensions or other third party extensions I need to run the code? I'm using VScode. Also when I try to run the normal verson of the program it says I need a .net framework even though I have the latest version

I recommend using Visual Studio with the ".NET desktop development" component installed. There might be a way to get it working with VS Code, but I haven't tried that myself. Using Visual Studio should also resolve any .NET Framework dependency issues.
