MvcModelGenerator tries to add caption key twice for param object defined in multiple places, and breaks with Dictionary key already exists exception.

The exception occurs in ResourceWriter when an application contains two data structures with same names, but different letter case. Example source: Module M { Entity E1; Entity e1; }.

MSDN on ResourceWriter:

Resource names are case-sensitive when used for lookups, but to more easily support authoring tools and help eliminate bugs, ResourceWriter will not allow a .resources file to have names that vary only by case.
