bug(YouTube): Resource compilation error

Bug description

Been trying to patch YTM, I keep getting a "Write patched APK file" error. I've reinstalled revanced, made double sure all settings were left untouched, and even made sure the version from APK mirror was correct as well.

At a loss over here, not even the discord knows how to help 😭

This is related to aapt not supporting armv7. A patch for it fixes it and can be added back. Moving to aapt repo

I edited the manager to print the aapt used (Using aapt from...).

The youtube music 8.40.54 was successfully patched with the armeabi-v7a aapt binary (arm path).

1. Can you confirm that you are using the apk from https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/youtube-music/youtube-music-8-40-54-release/ with the armeabi-v7a version ?
2. Are you trying to cross patch ? from armeabi-v7a to arm64-v8a or another arch ? Because I trigger the same issue when trying to patch a armeabi-v7a apk on a arm64-v8a phone (arm64 path).

the only difference in the architecture specific apks are the native libs, have you tried with the patch from our previous commits?

To (hopefully) answer the both of your questions:

Yes, I am using the patch from APK mirror. I haven't had issues patching before with that specific version of the APK until now.

And no, I'm not cross patching. At least not that I am aware of.

There is something strange as your phone is a Motorola Moto G Play (2023) that has a Mediatek MT6765 Helio G37 (12 nm) which is armv8 arch... Do you know if you have a 32bit OS ? If 64, the revaned-manager should not try to use the armv7 version of the lib (which trigger the could not exec error).

With termux https://github.com/termux/termux-app/releases/tag/v0.118.3 (the _universal version) can you try to run :

pkg update
pkg install -y wget
wget https://github.com/ReVanced/aapt2/releases/download/v1.0.0/aapt2-armeabi-v7a
chmod +x ./aapt2-armeabi-v7a
./aapt2-armeabi-v7a --help

and try:
