Get tests running on CI

AppVeyor has some documentation here:

It may require mimicing the output format of other test frameworks.

This also had some steps toward the final goal in #82 and #84 .
I think using junit's xml format for AppVeyor is the way to go for now. #103 is a major step toward doing that.
