Move layers around

One annoying thing I found with Pinta was I couldn't just rearrange the order of the layers! The workaround was to start again and be sure I have the layers in the correct order before I start painting. I was expecting to see a "Move layer down" option on the right click menu, and of course I tried dragging and dropping layers. This seems such an easy feature I might have a go at it after I finish my current tasks. What workarounds do people use for moving layers around? Another workaround I thought of but haven't tried is save as ora, unzip and move layers around in stack.xml, reopen, at least then you don't lose work (or I guess you could open the ora in Krita and rearrange in its gui - untested).

You're right that "move layer up/down" is missing from right click menu. It is however available below the layers area:

Though it is weird that it is missing from the right click menu...

Yeah, those really should be in the right click menu so that was an oversight. Filed bug #2004
