F-Droid is cautious about
- custom Maven repos
- binaries pulled from outside Maven Central / Google / standard repos
- libraries that may not be fully verifiable or libre in the expected way
@notifee/react-native is a push notification library, and that custom repo will likely attract scrutiny.
If possible, we should investigate how Notifee is used, and if it is feasible / good to remove Notifee or replace it with something more F-Droid friendly / transparent?
Perhaps we should state clearly how we use push notifications?
