No messages notification

I have all my notifications on for open bubble as well as make sure my phone isnt on DND or battery optimize mode. And my messages don't notify or pop up till I open the app then my phone send me notifications but I've already opened it.

So what I did was bite the bullet uninstalled it and reinstall it and made sure to hold the message below and press allow and notify.

gotcha. i just went to my settings and re-enabled it. seems to have worked, thanks!
