Crash when bonemealing petrified saplings on NeoForge 1.20.1

Only happens on NeoForge from testing. Reopening the world after crash has the tree grown as expected.

don't use neoforge for the 1.20.1 version, we can't support that here. We will use neoforge starting with 1.21.1
