Previously recorded track lost after app is closed and reopened

Description
During position tracking on Android, when the application is closed the track data should remain available. After reopening the application and starting a new position-tracking session, the previous track data are not saved.

Environment
Staging

Application (+ app version, build, operating system)
App version: 2026.1.0 (build 762251)
Device/OS: Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, Android 15

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the app on the Android device.
2. Start a position-tracking session (record a track).
3. Close the application.
4. Reopen the application.
5. Start a new position-tracking session.
6. Check the list of tracks / saved track data.

Actual results
The previous track data are not saved and cannot be found after reopening and starting a new session; the track is lost.

Expected results
Track data recorded before closing the app should remain available after reopening the app.
