Code loads only the first heart cycle (GE 3D ultrasound dicoms)?

I extracted the 3D+t data from GE ultrasound dicoms and it seems that the code does not read all of the frames from the dicom (based on the numberOfFrames variable). Is it possible that it loads only the first heart cycle?
