File preview: eml file preview struggles with black text

Current behavior

Some email clients tend to make texts explicitly black. This can lead to issues such as these:

Text not showing properly when CRM is in Dark Mode

Full screen behavior makes all text black

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Have a look at this record in Sublime

Expected behavior

I understand the problems of this statement but even if text is black (or white), I'd expect it to always have the oppposite color of the background. I also note that Outlook even handles turning dark grey -> light grey. Is that possible?
