Can some statement be done on the future of Kong OSS and relation to the Kong enterprise releases? |

Why is this project a hall of mirrors? Trying to figure out all the editions, deployment methods, etc for Kong is impossible. None of the links in the docs lead to the places that they say they do. Nothing makes any sense. |

We’re pleased to announce Kong API Gateway OSS Community Edition 3.9.1. This is our second OSS release in the 3.9 series, and includes a number of bug fixes and minor improvements.
For users of the AI plugin, we’ve added support for the boto3 SDK if you are using AWS Bedrock, and similarly the Google GenAI SDKs when working with Google Gemini. This simplifies working with these providers using their native SDKs. The AI driver underpinning our AI plugins now also supports Ollama streaming responses.
In addition, we’ve applied a number of fixes including several to our AI plugins (in particular ai-proxy) based on early customer feedback and bumped and tested some critical dependencies including
lua-kong-nginx-moduleandlibexpat. You can find details in the CHANGELOG.As usual you can install the latest version using Docker, Kubernetes, prebuilt packages on Ubuntu, RHEL, Debian or Amazon Linux, or by docker compose.
