Does not work on K4

I have a 4th gen Kindle no touch. (S/N b00e...) which I have jailbroken using the NiLuJe's K4 JB.

Afterwards I tried to install the hotfix according to Setting up a Hotfix. However, after moving the Update_hofix_universal.bin to the root folder of the kindle, the Update Kindle menu entry is still grayed out.

I have installed other bins (like the screensaver hack and the font hack) which work without a problem. So I think installing bin files per se works on my machine.

There is a mention of a compatibility hotfix, however I cannot find it.

I extracted the update and tried running it, but it had a rough time.
