Configurable gauge slots (A1 / printers without all sensors)

Suggestion: Since the A1 doesn't have a chamber fan or an auxiliary fan, there are two empty slots on the display. I've set one of them to show the current time; the other is empty.

Perhaps this space could be used to display information about the AMS, or is there other useful information that could be accessed here?

Hi, it's working. The information I can use is the Heartbreak Fan and Layer Progress (though that info was already in the bottom row).

It might also be interesting to see the colors and materials loaded on the AMS.
The A1 probably won't provide any further information.

I have added options like temperature and humidity for AMS, looks like this is not available on AMS Lite. Colors and materials loaded to AMS are visible on bigger screen. Currently CYD and Waveshare 2" (same resolution). I don't want to pack more information on this screen , but I could add new status page for AMS. I need to think about it :)

That’s right; temperature and humidity data for AMS aren’t available on the AMS Lite.
The suggestion about a status page for AMS sounds good!

This is now resolved with configurable gauge slots, available in the latest firmware.

You can go to the web UI and assign any gauge type to any of the 6 positions - including Heatbreak Fan, Layer Progress, Clock, or leave a slot empty. This works per-printer, so each saved printer can have its own layout.

For the A1 specifically, you might want to try:

• Heatbreak Fan - useful to monitor since A1 doesn't expose chamber/aux fans
• Layer Progress - shows current/total layers as an arc gauge
• Clock - simple HH:MM display

To configure: open the web interface, go to the printer settings tab, and use the gauge layout dropdowns (Top-left through Bot-right). There's also a Reset button to go back to defaults.

Regarding the AMS status page idea - I'll keep that in mind as a separate feature for the future.
