General Refactorings

**Describe the solution you'd like**
I've been compiling a bunch of notes [here](https://github.com/JasonBock/Rocks/blob/main/docs/notes/Refactoring%20Ideas.md) to do a bunch of refactorings to the code base. This story go through all of them and make changes.
