User Story

As an admin who started using Radarr/Sonarr before understanding and implementing custom formats, I want the ability to view, filter, and sort my media by custom format score so that I can identify my lowest-scoring media and manually upgrade them first.

Problem

I set up both Radarr and Sonarr long before I understood the value of custom formats and their scoring. After implementing a few of the TRaSH formats I realized that the majority of movies & series episodes do not meet the cutoff. Importantly, though, not all cutoff unmet are equal - some are simply 1080p instead of 4K, while others are from poor-quality release groups, have the wrong default language, or wrong language entirely. This is reflected in my custom format scores (i.e., files with the wrong language will have a much lower score).

While both Radarr and Sonarr expose custom format scores, they bury them in a way that does not allow me to easily identify movies and episodes with the lowest scores. With over 700 movies and 8,000 episodes it would take me forever to check each movie/series and replace the problematic files.

Note: I include Radarr in this feature request because, for some reason, custom format scores are not being reported by Sortarr v0.8.5.1 as shown below (resized the image to save screen space, but the full-size image should be able to be viewed by opening in a new tab).

Suggested Requirements

  • When on the Radarr tab, users can:
    • Add and sort by the Custom Format Score column
    • Filter by custom format score (e.g.<-100, ≥1000)
  • When on the Sonarr tab, users can:
    • Add and sort by a Lowest Custom Format Score column (plus, perhaps, a Highest Custom Format Score column)
    • The lowest custom format score is displayed at the series and season level (series-level min scores are most valuable for long-running series so users can quickly identify the season and, subsequently, episode with the lowest score)
    • Filter by lowest custom format score (e.g.<-100, ≥1000)

Depending on implementation effort, a next-best alternative could be average and median scores for a given show & season.

Really appreciate the work you've put into the tool and for sharing it with the community - thanks! Personally, the above use case was my primary driver for taking Sortarr for a spin. I've been able to use it as-is by using video quality/resolution and size as proxies, but it only saves a small amount of time.
