I have simplified the calculations for the water uptake and conduct calculations in aggregated grids to make the model run relatively fast, I found reading the aggregated information from the root generator would make things much easier.
I wonder could you please add an extra output for aggregated information for each soil grid that you added. Like the ID for the soil grid, x, y, z information, fraction of fine root biomass in total fine root biomass, fraction of structural root biomass in total structural root biomass. maybe export the total fine root biomass and structural root biomass as well in a separate table, see the attached example data.
