When clicking the JavaScript bookmark in Opera GX the addon does not work in any capacity, other than that it shows the achievement in Cookie Clicker that I'm using a third-party addon. It does not show itself visually or auditorily and evidently does not run any background processes. This may be a browser-wide issue as well; I'm not sure.
