Gridview does not respond to touch screen inputs

Clicking on one of the animations on grid view selects the animation, and it begins to play.
Doing the same thing but using a touchscreen, does not work.
Double tapping the animation with a touch screen, will select the animation, but does not play/start/stop/pause the animation.
