As a part of #2 there needs to be an investigation into UI/UX options that were already tried in gamedev and how they pan out for these other games.
Notable mentions:

These are some examples of games based on interfaces. They should simply give an impression of what a game focused around interfaces/typing looks like and how it actually works.

The result of this investigation should be a high-level direction for UI/UX and probably art/design style.

This investigation covers only UI/UX options for the game; mini-games are investigated as a part of #1 .
