The man pages and the manual are not really helpful about use of the --nids option.
When this option is set to a certain number (e.g. 10), only the first 10 individuals in the total sample file are used.
Maybe we should even consider to remove this option (or to extend it so that a file with IDs to include can be supplied as parameter).
