Sent messages cannot be edited and resent

Problem Description

Once a message is sent, there is no option to edit the message and resend it. Users often make typos or errors while typing, and after sending the message, they realize they need to correct it. Currently, the only option is to delete the sent message and type a new one, which is inconvenient and disrupts conversation flow.

Expected Behavior

Users should be able to:

• Edit their sent messages
• Resend the corrected version

Actual Behavior

After a message is sent, there is no edit or resend functionality available. Users must manually delete the sent message and type a new corrected message.

Use Case Scenarios

1. User types a message with typos and sends it unintentionally
2. User realizes the message could be improved after sending
3. User wants to correct a factual error in a previously sent message
