FaderPort stops working if windows goes to sleep

I have a presonus faderport v2, it works fine at first, but if windows goes to sleep mode and then i re-log into windows the faderport is not synced anymore with the reaper daw. i never close reaper before windows goes to sleep and to make it work again i need to close and reopen reaper

You could try the Reaper actions

• Control surface: Refresh all surfaces or
• Reset all MIDI control surface devices

to avoid restarting Reaper.
