Hue Sync

It would be nice to have sync with displayed image on screen. I know it isn't simple but for few people it will be nice feature. Specialy when you watch movie in dark room.

hi, there was a similar request which I answered two years ago on https://store.kde.org/p/1168067/

As far as I am aware, I can't get the screen contents via qml, and I don't want to add a backend as the plasmoid is qml only on purpose, so it can be distributed via the "get new plasmoids" functionality.

If there is a way to get screen content from plain qml, I'm happy to implement it when I find the time.

I found something like this. I don't know if it works for your purpose. I try write something for hue sync, but I am not professional developer.

That's C++ Code, which is exactly what I can't use. This would require the plasmoid to have a compiled backend, which means I can no longer distribute it via the KDE store / KDE "get new plasmoids" thingie.

@Fuchs I understood it first time. I try find code to get displayed image on screen and find this part of code. It was describe as QML code. I don't want to upset you.
