Can you pipe through the Discovery Identity from the USB PD chips onto the EC and then away to a kernel driver to get the info to the OS?

Would open an entire new world for troubleshooting, geting status in the OS of charge,how much the cable can support from the eMarker chip etc.

Edit: So USCI 2.0+ is required for this. What version of USCI is used between the PDC and EC?
