MSI-installer adds a superfluous directory

By default, the MSI-installer installs in x:\Program FIles\Converseen\Converseen, unless the user selects x:\Program Files as the destination folder.

Hi, and thanks for reporting this issue.

Unfortunately, I was already aware of this problem. Due to code-signing requirements, I can only use the MSI format as the installer type.

The issue you’re experiencing is caused by the fact that, when generating the MSI installer through Wix3 via CMake, it doesn’t seem possible to fully control the installation target directory.

I’ve tried several approaches to work around this problem, but so far I haven’t been able to find a solution.

Still, I hope to eventually fix this problem in the future!

Thank you. I’ve tried several approaches to work around this problem Not the way this should work, but an user can select "x:\Program Files". Then the same suffix "\Converseen" will be appended to the actual target directory too. No need to reply to me, because it's (very unusual but also) quite obvious. With the risk that a fix may actually install it in that directory later, so you may not want to promote this. Avé, André
