How to get Timestampindex of DMD as a Timecolumn?

Sir, As you said, TimestampFormat.SECONDS_SINCE_START gives a time information as a timestamp index. But how it can be useful as a index?
how can i get Timestamp as a one of the column like other channels in the dmd file but not as a timestamp index
