This is more than a two-day event. It is a full accessibility-first learning ecosystem built to help people ship real open source contributions.

The Story of This Workshop

GIT Going with GitHub is designed as one continuous journey, not two disconnected days.

You start by learning the core workflow in the browser: navigate repositories, open issues, create pull requests, review, and merge with confidence.

Then you bridge into github.dev with the same keyboard-first patterns, and finish by stepping into full VS Code with GitHub Copilot and Accessibility Agents so your skills scale from manual workflow to agentic workflow.

The story is simple: learn the fundamentals first, then amplify them. You are not watching a demo. You are building the skills to contribute upstream in real projects.
