[BUG] Failed to initialize. try resetting your device or holding the boot button while clicking install

When I try to flash via the website, I get the error message.
Even holding down the boot button with a paper clip doesn't change the result.

Exactly the same issue. It sees the com port. I can reset the device and get output on the console, but the flashing always errors out with the same message,

Gave up with the Web Page flasher - Used bin the files available at https://github.com/Blueforcer/awtrix3/tree/main/docs/ulanzi_flasher/firmware

Worked first time:

Hold down the reset button, run the command, release the reset button.

I have this same issue... though I believe it is a device issue and not the AWTRIX setup as I get the same with ESPHome and also WLED
