Roadmap

The next alpha is scheduled for march 2026

The first beta is scheduled for Q2 2026

Most but not all of following features will be available in V1.0 (Q3/2026):

Ideas/ToDo

  • refactor update 20260307

    • rewritten tab-groups and browser (webview2)
    • more group styles (up to six groups)
    • unlimited numbers of browser tabs
    • browser component needs no reload when drag to new group!

    • --> full app refactor is done "outside" (from scratch)
      • goal: feature parity with this alpha
  • Roboguide V10 "integration"

    • with release of RG10.4(oct/2025) , we have defined our (desired) features:
      • No direct integration

      • Start via Web IO and Web SOP or the robot's homepage using RG-Controller-RightClick-Menu

      • show roboguide help

      • start from Roboguide (as chrome.exe)

      • copy and rename app to chrome.exe

      • add the new "chrome path to roboguide

        • RG V9 :Tools-Options-System
        • RG V10 :Options-System
    • awaiting next RG release (internal priority list of features)
  • (S)FTP/communication panel

    • sftp/ssl lib(s) needs attention
      • more threading / non blocking tests
  • new settings tab (add connections)

      • e.g. copy from Excel --> python-convert-clipboard --> paste to Fanuc-LS-Prog
  • set breakpoints and view variables
  • simple Markdown component
