Deprection of the Azure Monitor HTTP Data Collector API

The Logic App Send Data action in the Azure Log Analytics Data Collector connector has a dependency on the Azure Monitor HTTP Data Collector API which is being deprecated by September 2026. This means that the connector is effectively deprecated by September 2026 as well.

Is Microsoft intending to update the connector so that it uses the Logs Ingestion API instead? Or will the connector be retired and therefore we need to update all of our workflows to use an alternative design, as suggested here?

It would be great if someone from Microsoft can confirm what is happening with the connector and update the Logic App connector documentation. I'd rather not spend time updating our workflows if Microsoft is going to update the connector so that it continues to work after September 2026.
