Y axis not defined by data

When plotting two graphs in panels, the y-axis minimum and maximum is the same in both graphs, even though the online help says

  -ymin YMIN, --ymin YMIN
                        Minimum value of Y-axis. Default = defined by data.
  -ymax YMAX, --ymax YMAX
                        Maximum value of Y-axis. Default = defined by data.

this can obviously be interpreted in different ways, but it would be nice to have the choice to have different Y-axes for two plots. So not clear really whether this is a bug or an enhancement request.

Here is the command line used with the attached file

plotxvg -f minus.xvg plus.xvg -panel -yframe 16 -legend_x 0.8 -xmax 3 -sfx -0.1 -sfy 0.96 -sharelabel

Yes this is not a bug. This is a feature of plotxvg that panels using the same x and y axes labels are to be plotted using the same minimum and maximum values since they are often to be compared with each other and should thus use the same "room". If two panels do not have the same axes labels it is assumed their values are not in the same interval so they will use the minimum and maximum values defined in their own files separately.

I think that if two plots of similar data (f.ex. separate runs of a simulation) are to be compared and they should use the same minimum and maximum values, however as this example do not agree with this setting we can tune it in some way, perhaps combine it with another flag such as sharelabel?

Would be great if we can make it optional. What is used as the default is not important, as long as it is clear. A good rule of thumb could be that plotxvg should not try to interpret the data. But if the user wants the same axes on either X, Y, or both, it should be possible.
