Community Guidelines — AIC

Goal: Maintain a safe, respectful, and creative environment.

  1. Respectful & Professional

  • No personal attacks, no insults.

  • Focus on code, ideas, no personal attacks.

  1. Transparent when necessary
  • When presenting designs or threat models, separate sensitive parts (no public keys, PII).
  1. Discourage malicious behavior
  • Any code/patch that can be used for harm will be rejected without controls, ethical mitigation.
  1. Criticism is necessary but constructive
  • Comment clearly, provide evidence, avoid ad-hominem.
  1. Right to opt-in
  • Node independence is respected; no pressure to join Organization or governance.
  1. Liability
  • Contributors are responsible for the license of their contributions.

Violation: Maintainers can warn → close issue/PR → revoke privileges until resolved.
