Error: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid

i try to run this command ./alapy_arc -c SRR1284073.fastq and i get this massage error "Error: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid" , do you know how fix this problem? im in linux

Run the following command before running ALAPY Compressor, it will fix the issue:
export LC_ALL=C; unset LANGUAGE
